Delhi: Gang caught selling children for Rs 4 lakh

 

The police investigation was launched following information that child sales in Delhi were on the rise. It involved a gang that buys children born to poor parents and sells them to the rich who have no maternity leave. The investigation has revealed that they bought the children for Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh and sold them for Rs 3 to 4 lakh. Delhi Police Crime Branch Commissioner Rajesh Theo said that 10 children have been identified and 2 children have been rescued from the gang.
