Dr. Akshay Baheti, World record holder in Blood Donation, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate under the prestigious United Research Council of USA for his social work in the field of Blood Donation.

The United Research Council is active in the field of health in more than twenty countries. Dr.Akshay Baheti started his social work at a very young age by realizing the importance of blood donation. He is pioneer in providing blood for thalassemia patients. Dr. Akshay Baheti also holds two different world records in blood donation. While taking the blood donation movement forward, Dr. Akshay Baheti is giving his all in this movement with the noble feeling that no patient should die for lack of blood. With his initiative, blood bags are provided to the patients suffering from various diseases.

He felt that this honor does not belong to me alone but to everyone who has strongly supported  me in my journey till date. Various dignitaries have expressed happiness and congratulated him on announcement of honorary doctorate
