Punjab has reported a jump of over 264% in number of patients on oxygen support in 24 hours, according to the state Health Department. As per Punjab's COVID-19 bulletin, while 62 patients were put on oxygen support on Friday, 226 patients required oxygen support on Saturday. Official data states that 23 patients were on oxygen support on January 1.
