US State Department's Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs on Saturday condemned the alleged attack on a Sikh taxi driver, in which a man knocked off his turban and used abusive language at JFK airport. The agency said that it's "deeply disturbed" by reports of the incident. "We...have a responsibility to hold perpetrators of hate crimes accountable," it added.
