Residents say 200 killed by armed bandits in Nigeria Reuters

About 200 or more people have been killed by armed bandits in Nigeria's Zamfara in response to military airstrikes on their hideouts this week, residents told Reuters on Saturday. The military had said that 100 bandits including two leaders were killed in the airstrikes on Monday. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari called it an "act of desperation by mass murderers".
